Eligibility CriteriaNEET – As per the latest NEET eligibility criteria, the minimum age required to appear in the exam is 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course. The upper age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years as on the date of examination with relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category and persons entitled for reservation under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The National Testing Agency (NTA), the regulatory body for NEET. H“ave determined the NEET 2019 eligibility criteria for the first time. Aspirants of NEET seeking admission to the medical, dental and AYUSH courses at the undergraduate level are advised to check the eligibility criteria of NEET. The prerequisites given here are in accordance with those specified by NTA based on the Regulations on Graduate Medical Education, 1997 (amended in 2018). NEET eligibility criteria specifies the age limit, academic qualifications, nationality and other mandatory requirements which must be met by all the aspirants. NEET was held on May 5 in a single shift. Candidates who will not meet NEET eligibility criteria will be ineligible for the entrance exam. Candidates could download NEET admit card from the official website on April 15 onwards.
